Xolair has been fantastic for my Asthma - Liz

I have been on Xolair for three years now. Previous to this treatment I was on 1500mg of Serevent a day and my ventolin was with me at all times. I was in and out of hospital for 2 week stays (ICU was the norm) at least 5 times a year. I was on countless doses of steroids and antibiotics and in 1990 my heart stopped.

Since I've been on Xolair my asthma has been fantastic. I go to hospital twice a month for two injections - one in each arm (had to get over my terror or injections, but they work so well it doesn't bother me anymore!), and after I'd had about 4 months worth I can now go out without my ventolin, I rarely take my preventative inhaler and I've only been admitted to hospital once. This was late 2008 when everyone was hit badly by the flu.

I have two cats (I was bought up with cats and cannot live without them!), they affect me when I first get them but after a couple of months I get used to them.

If your asthma is bad enough I cannot recommend this drug enough. (February 2009) Contact Liz
