One of the most widely used treatments for asthma is the use of inhalers. Inhalers contain a solution of medicine and a propellant which is used to create a fine spray that can be breathed in.

As the name suggests, Relievers help to relieve asthma symptoms when they actually happen. Relievers come in blue inhalers.

Preventers on the other hand can help to control the inflammation of the airways and reduce the chance of getting asthma symptoms or having an asthma attack. Preventers come in brown, orange or red inhalers.
